Hardwood Floor Repair and Water Damage · North Metro Atlanta

Hardwood floor repair after leaks, pets, and wear.

Damage can look worse than it is, or better. The first step is finding out how far it goes, because that decides whether you need a repair, a refinish, or new flooring.

Your options

The choices that change how the floor looks, lasts, and costs.

Board replacement

Damaged boards cut out and replaced, then blended into the floor around them.

Subfloor repair

If damage reaches below the boards, we repair the base first.

Repair and refinish

Refinishing the whole room after a repair hides the line between old and new boards.

Partial replacement

For when one section is past saving and the rest of the floor is sound.

How it works

Four steps from your first call to a finished floor.

STEP 1

Tell us about the floor

Call or send the form. A photo of the floor helps. We'll talk through the job and set a time to see it if it needs measuring.

STEP 2

Get a written estimate

Scope and price in writing, usually by text. It's free, and nothing is due until you approve it.

STEP 3

We do the work

We set the date together, and a 50% deposit secures it and your materials. The crew does the work, cleans up, and puts your furniture back.

STEP 4

Inspect the finished floor

You walk the floor with us before you pay the remaining 50%.

Common questions

Is it cheaper to repair or replace?

Repair, in most cases, if the rest of the floor is sound. We check the damage before recommending either one.

Can you match my existing floor?

Often exactly, sometimes closely. Species, age, and finish all matter. You'll know what the match will look like before we start.

What should I do right after a leak?

Stop the water, wipe up what's standing, and get air moving with fans. Then call us. Wet wood often moves back as it dries, so the right time to judge the damage is after drying.
